ETHOS is founded on the belief that engineers are more apt and capable to serve our world appropriately if they have experienced opportunities that will increase understanding of technology’s global linkage with values, culture, society, politics, and the economy.

The ETHOS Program was designed for undergraduate students at the University of Dayton with an interest in applying their abilities to work on problems in the developing world. It offers the opportunity of international travel, cultural immersion, and an internship experience within the emerging global market while focusing on projects which will serve to improve the lives of some of the people with greatest needs on the planet.
